England vs. Srilanka, The last quarter final of 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. England has never won a world cup and srilanka won it in 1996. In 1996, we had England, Srilanka quarter final and srilanka won it with the lights of sanath jayasuriya. So, Can they repeats it in 2011.we will see it?
Let’s discussed about the two teams and what they have to do for win this match.
When we look at England, they are a very good Test playing country. But, they have some problems with ODIs. In recent past they played well in all forms of cricket. But In this world cup, they played well, similarly played badly. Injuries are the main problem they have. They lost their main bats man kevin Peterson. This will be a ig loss foe England.

But when we look at their batting, Andrew Straus, ian bell and trott  are in good form. Collingwood have to find his form if he gets a chance in this match. If these players can play their game England can score some Runs. But the problem is this match will play in srilanka. R .Premadasa Stadium, It is a wicket which helps spinners lot. England is week to play spinners. So it is very difficult to handle spinners in these conditions. Srilanka has the world number one spinner, Mendis and Herath. These three spinners can course lot of problem to England. Mendis and Herath are new to the Englands and Murali is always difficult. Now he is having wickets and he will give everything in this world cup, because this is his final world cup. So it is not easy to play these spinners and the slinger Malinga. He can do anything at any time. I think Colinwood is the man for England. He played well against Srilanka and he can handle srilankan ballers. Other England batsmen have to be careful, because these ballers are new to them.

First England batsmen have to use to the conditions. Then try to rotate the strike and Built partnerships. Then they can keep wickets in hand and play some shots. That’s the way to approach in this game.

Srilanka is a team which can defend 220 runs with their ballers. In R. Premadasa it is very difficult to chase. So if England wins the toss it is batter to bats first. Srilankas have some problems with chasing. So if England Bats first and Score 250+ with rotating strikes and building partnerships they can get 250+. Then they have a chance to defend it.

If they ball first, they have to restrict srilanka below 220. When we look at the srilanka batting, Sangakkara is in good form and he will like to keep that form in this match. Jayawardena also scored some runs in this world cup. They are the key batsman for srilanka. Dilshan is dangerous. He scored century in this world cup. But still he tries to middle the ball. Tharanga is also had some runs. But, in the middle order, srilanak have some problems. They don’t have a player, who can rotate the strike in middle overs. Angilo is good, but other two batsmen have to do their work.
In England balling, I think Tim baseman is the key. England spinners have ball well. But they can do lot against srilanka. They play well against spinners. But they have some problems with fast ballers. They are week at bouncers. So baisman can do something.

In England, Collingwood is my key player. Others also have to bat well. If they bats first and set a target around 250, then we have a match. If srilanka bats first then England have to restrict them below 220. Otherwise it is so difficult to case.
But when we compare, the two teams with the conditions, srilanka have an advantage. But who knows. England can come up a good answer. We will see tomorrow.

Who can go for it?

Now two teams are already qualified for the semi-finals. Another two teams can enter to the semifinals. So tomorrow match will be decide another team. Is it South Africa? New Zealand?.
This match is very important to both the teams and these two teams have never won the world cup before and after tomorrow one team have to keep that record until 2015.
I will move in to my analysis now,
Tomorrow game will be played at Dhaka, when we look at the past records and last semifinal match we can say that the team batting second has a little advantage. Also this wicket helps both spinners and fast ballers. But that will not affect for these two teams. If vitori play tomorrow, both he teams have quality spinners. But vitory has more experience when we compare with Peterson. But teams have some problems with spinners. So the pitch will not give any advantage to any team. When can’t see any side get more support from the supporters in the ground. That is all so 50%-50%.
But NewZealands have played in Dhaka in recently, but South Africa hasn’t. So NewZealand is familiar with this wicket.
Now we will talk about the team performances,

When we look at the batting,
South Africans are in head. All of their top batsmen have scored runs in this world cup. AB, Kallis, Dumini, Amla are in good form. But when we look at New Zealand Taylor, McCulam are in runs and Guptill is trying to make some impact.
New Zealand also have big problem with their ballers. But they still have good fast ballers like sutthi. But South Africa also has good balling attack.
In balling department we can’t prefer any side. But in batting South Africans are in front.
Both the teams have some problems with chasing and it will double in this type of causal match.
So in
My view team win the toss have to bat first. If it is New Zealand They have to get 275+ runs. With Taylor, McCulam, Gupptill, Ryder and Styriss they can do it easily. They also have batting ower of Oram in latter. So main thing they need is built a partnership and then try to accelerate.
Styriis and McCulam have to show their colours. They have to be careful with Stayn and Peterson. Then I think they can go to that target easily.
In the other hand South Africans have to take the wickets of Taylor and McCulam, without giving lot of Runs to them. They are the inform batsman and Try to restrict the under 250 . Then they have a real chance with their batsman.

If South Africa wins the toss, they don’t want to think too much. Only thing they need is take this as a normal game and bat 50 overs. If they can do it with their batsmen they can easily reach 250+. Amala, AB, Kallis, Dumini and smith are key players for South Africa. If two of them get going they can reach 270 easily. Then they have to take Taylar and McCulam early and put some pressure in to them. I think Peterson is the key. New Zealand fails at spinners. They have problems with Srilanaka. They have to chase a total, so using Peterson South Africa can create pressure and take wickets.
In other hand New Zealand have to restrict South Africa under 250 runs. They have to look at Amla,AB, Kallis. They are the most dangerous players. Smith is not in good form, but if he finds his way, he also dangerous. So soutthi and vitori have to do lot.
But, finally when we look at the performance of these two teams we can say South Africa have an advantage. New Zealand has some problems with their injuries and recent form. But who knows, If McCulam or Taylor Gets going this can be change. But it is very difficult to control big batsmen like AB, Amla, Smith, Kallis and Dumini. If one of the New Zealand baller can do it they will win the match.

Is it India or Australia?

This is the match we are all looking for? Australia vs. India, Two big favorites in this world cup. But after this match one team have to leave. But I’m sure both the teams don’t like it. But that’s the game. So they will give there all for this match. This will be a great match to watch.

So today I’m going to talk about this match. In my yesterday article I have introduce a system to predict the team which has an advantage in the game. So if you haven’t read it please follow this link,

So depending on that structure I will give marks,

Let’s consider the ground support,

Definitely this is for India. But they haven’t performed well under those conditions well. It will be a huge pressure for India to play this type of match in their country. Australia can handle these conditions. But the pitch is more suitable for India and it will give some advantage to them. So I will give 2.5% for Australia and 2.5% for India in this factor.

Then I will talk about Luck, captaincy and other things. We can’t give marks for luck. But in captaincy ponting is in front. Australians can handle pressure well when we campier to India. So I will give 3% to Australia and 2% to India.

Then the important thing, Toss

When we look at the records of past world cup matches, two matches have played in this ground. One match won by the team batting 1^st and other match have won by the team batting 2^nd. So that is not good enough to get an idea. But when we look at the team performances we know India have the number one batting line up in the world. They can chance 400 runs also. They have that talent. So it is very difficult to set a target to India. In other hand their balling department is not good.  It’s very difficult to defend 275 with their ballers. So if India bats first they have to think about that and set a target. They have to take risk in that. Then Australia can plan their innings well. But if Australia bats first they can’t set a target and because of that India ballers have chance. Also with this batting line up they can chance it. So I think if India win the toss and they ball first they have 6% and if Australia ball first they have 6%.

But I can’t say what will do these teams? And most probably they will take the decision according to the pitch. But I think the pitch will not chance in both innings and above factor will affect more than that. That will affect physiologically to all the players.

Then I will go to the batting.

India is in front. They have four century scores and sachin scored twice in this world cup. But, no centuries for Australia. All the top order indian batsman have experience and all of them are in good form. Dhoni and gambhir have to score and others are in good form. So with this batting line up they can reach 270 very easily. they have hitting power with yusuf pathan . Also yuvaraj, Dhoni can hit sixes in last overs. But in Australia,Watson,haddin and clark is in some form. But ponting have to score.  So after consider all these factors I will give &% to India and 3% Australia.

Then the balling,

We have seen that India were unable to defend 300 runs twise in this worldcup. Their ballers haven’t ball well. Zahir khan is the only baller who balls well. They haven’t received much with Harbujan. Munaf have taken wickets but go for some runs. In the last match Ashvin have balled well and I think India have to use him. Because Australians are week against spinners and he is new to them. In other hand when we look at the Australian balling lee is in good form. Jhonson have balled well in 1^st matches, but in last matches he goes for few runs. Tait is a wicket taking baller, but he have to be accurate with the Indian quality batsman.

Indians are good with spinners. So I don’t think krcjza can do lot. But when we campier the balling of these two teams Australia are in front.  I will give 6% to Australia and 4% for India.

Then we have to consider fielding and no doubt Australia is in front. They are very active in the field. They will cut off 20-30 runs; sometimes they take half chances etc. So we will give 6% to Australia and 4% to India.

Now let’s add all the points,

India has 45.5 and Australia has 44.5. Toss will give other points. So if India wins the toss and choose to ball first, they have a good chance. In other hand Australia can do something if they ball first. But I’m sure this will be a close match. But India has a little advantage.

Please look at sachin, shewag, yuvaraj, kholi, dhoni, gambhir. If two of them gets going India have a good chance put some runs on the bord. Lee, tait, jhonson have the responsibility of restrict them. They have to ball in good areas and try to reduce run rate.

In other hand India may be in trouble if ponting gets going. They don’t have quality ballers and harbujan and zaheer have to do lot. But I think India should introduce Ashwin. I think he can do something for India.

Are you Ready for the Quarter Finals?

Cricket kick for all blog gives you a detail analysis of cricket matches, News etc. So as usual I’m going to give you another detail analysis of ICC Cricket world Cup 2011.
We all know now we are in the quarter final stage. The 1^st match will be started on tomorrow at Dhaka and it’s between Pakistan vs. West Indies.
So I think it’s better to discussed about this match. Several factors will affect the decision of a cricket match.
I have categorized them and them and put their probabilities that will effect for a match,

·         Batting 30%

·         Balling 30%

·         Fielding 20%

·         Toss 10%

·         Ground support 5%

·         Luck and other factors 5%

So the team which can get highest marks will win the match.
Now I’m going to analysis tomorrows match based on above factors and past records of teams.

Now we will look at above factors one by one,

Pakistan is an Asian country and this match will play in Bangalidesh. Also in earlier we called bangalidesh as eastern Pakistan and it was ruled by Pakistan. Lot of Muslims is live in bangalidesh. So when we consider above factors we can say Pakistan will get the ground support.
But some teams will panic against ground support. Pakistan is not that kind of team and lot of their players like to have some support.
Also conditions will help Pakistan, because there are no difference between Pakistan conditions and bangalidesh conditions. But they haven’t play in this ground and West Indies have played once here. In that match they restrict bangalidesh for 58 runs. That means ground support will not affect West Indies. So when we consider all these things we can give 4% to Pakistan and 1% West Indies.

Then we will see the toss,
For that we have to consider past records of Dhaka Ground. All these grounds were modifying for the worldcup.so I think it’s better to consider only the world cup matches.
Then we can see 3 out of 4 matches have won by the team batting 1^st and they have scored more than 250 twice.  And team batting 2^nd score more than 250 once.
The average scores are 220 to 150 approximately.
So 7% will go to the team bats first. But this may depend on the conditions and if the team decide to bat 2^nd after winning the toss that means there are some thing for ballers. But I don’t think this will change.

Then we will see the batting,
When we consider the Pakistan batting they have very good experienced batsmen like younis khan, Misbha Ul huq. But they are not in very good form in this world cup. Misbha has scored 83 against srilanka. But Umar akhmal is the player who is in runs. Asad shafiq also scored well. But they are inexperienced players. But have talent. But I think one of their key batsman should score. Kamran Akhmal also can play but he is not in runs these days. In overall the batting performance of Pakistan is not too good. They have passed 250 in two occasions and most of the time they only manage to score 175-200.

Now we will see the West Indies batting. Davon smith is the batsman who is in runs. Gayle also played some knocks and pollard and bravo also show there talent in some occasions. But Chandrapaul and sarwan are not in runs and I think they are the key players for West Indies.
when we look at overall batting of west indies more than 250 twice and manage to score 200-250 in other times.so they have shown some consistency in there batting. If gayle gets going or chandarapaul or sarwan get in to runs they will have an advantage. So I will put 18% for West Indies considering all these facts and 12% to Pakistan.

Now we will move in to the balling,
So when we look at the past performances fast ballers have played well in this ground.
Roach is in good form and Rampal, sami also show their performance well in this world cup. But for Pakistan Gul is the only fast baller ball well in this world cup. But they have akthar and he can do anything at any time. Also rassaq have balled well. So when we consider the fast ballers 50-50 chance for both teams but West Indies have little advantage. But when we consider the spin, Pakistan is in front. Afridi and hafize ball well in this world cup and West Indies players are not very familiar with spin balling. In other hand West Indies have ben and he also balls well. But Pakistan is in front. So when we consider the wicket, ballers and batsmen.  We can say both teams have equal chance but Pakistan have little advantage with their spinners. If the wicket is a spinner friendly one, then they have a big advantage. But when we look at the past records we can’t say like that. So I will put 16% to Pakistan and 14% to West Indies.

When we look at the fielding both teams have not shown good performances in the field and both are equal in my knowledge. So the team fields well in the day will have a advantage. But in this time I will give 10% each.

Then we have to talk the final factor Luck, captaincy and other things. Pakistan is in good condition because they have defeated Australia. Also Afridi can handle their players well and don’t give up things easily. But we can’t see those things from West Indies or sami. So Pakistan will take 3% and West Indies well take 2%. So when we add all these runs West Indies have 45% and Pakistan has 45%. So the toss will play major part and the team will win the toss get more points.

Now I will summarize all the things. We have to look at gayle, bravo, sarwan, and chandrapaul if any of them gets going west indies can score some good runs. In other hand misbha or younis gets going Pakistan can score good runs. Afridi is the man for me. He played well in finals; semis etc and he can do a good job with the ball. In West Indies gayle and bravo is the key.

So it is very difficult to tell about tomorrows match. But team win the toss have an advantage.
Keep your eye on gayle, bravo, afridi,younis, misbha. These players can change a game.

Any way I think Pakistan has very little advantage, but gayle,bravo, pollard, roach can change it. So keep your eye on the tomorrow’s game. I’m sure it will be a good match. We will meet tomorrow with anther analysis of the next game.

The First Round of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

 

Now we are in the 2^nd Stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and it is a knockout stage. So all the matches are very important to all teams and looser will go home. Before we go in to the quarter final stage of the Cricket World cup 2011 I think it is better to discussed about the first stage of the world cup.

When we talk about the first stage of the world cup we can see mixed performances of all teams. I will talk about the team performances in next articles and today I will talk about the performance of non-selected countries and the main incidents will happen in the next Stage.

When we asked that who will win the world cup this time, lot of people said that India or Australia. But now they have to play in Quarter finals and only one team can go to the semifinals. This is the one of the main thing we have to talk and I’m sure this match is worth to watch.

So now I will move in to the performance of non-selected countries. When we talk about them we have to put Ireland in first. In this world cup they showed that they can play a good cricket. They have entered the Super Eight stage in 2007 world cup by defeating Pakistan and this time they defeated England. Lot of people predicts that England will win this world cup and that’s why it is so important. Also they have chased down more than 300 runs and show that they can play good cricket. In this world cup they have chased down 300+ runs in two times. They played well against india and it is also a close game. Unlike in 2007 or their previous world cups, this time they have showed a consistent performance in batting, balling and fielding. There are lot of quality batsman in there side and if they can improve their balling they will become a good cricket team in future.

Look at the team performance of Irealand.

Then we have to talk about bangalidesh,

Bangalidesh is a test playing country, but we can’t see consistent performances by them. They have played lot of international cricket, but we can’t see any improvement like other Asian Teams. I think the main problem they have is they can’t find a consistent team. There are good players in bangalidesh side, but after some matches we can’t see them. First thing they have to do is understand the talented players. Then give confidence to them. Then they can win matches.

In 2007 Bangalidesh showed good talents. They have beaten India and South Africa in that world Cup. But then we can’t see Quality performances from them. In this world Cup they have beaten England. In that match they balled well. But in there batting we can’t see that weather they have won it. But there are some good signs on that. In that match youngsters have shown there talent and it gives lot of confidence to them. So bangalidesh should start from here and re built there team. Then we can see some good performances in feature.

Then I will move in to Neaterland. In this world Cup they are unable to win a match. But they have shown very good cricket. They have scored 300 runs in several times and gave very good fight to England and India. They have very good players and they have shown that they can do something in this world Cup.

Then I will talk about Zimbabwe. They have played well in this world cup. But they are not good enough to beat a top team. They have balled well against Australia and but in all matches they haven’t show their talents in batting department against a top team.

 In 1999, 2003 world cups Zimbabwe have very good team and then they were unable to play well. But In this world cup some of their players have shown their talents. They have very good balling department with Prise and Utsaya and Taylor, Tibu can bat well. So they have talented players and only thing they have to do is perform as a team.

Kenyance haven’t play good cricket this time. They are unable to win a match this time. In 2003 they came to the semifinals and show some good talents. they have showed poor performances in this time. In Australia match they have batted well. when we take it as a summary we can’t see good performances from kenyance.

At last I will talk about Canada. Canada has beaten Kenya and that’s the only point we have to talk about them. In Australia match they have batted well in first overs. But they can’t manage it because of lack of experience. In Pakistan match they have balled well. So they also have talent but can’t manage it according to the situation.

When we look at the performances of those teams we can say that they have played some good cricket. They only thing they need are experience. So if they will get a chance to play against top teams they can take that experience and show their talents in the world cup 2015. So ICC has to do this.

What do you Think about WorldCup?

What do you think about ICC Cricket World Cup 2011? Who will be the winner? Who will qualify for the Quarter finals, semifinals and final? Can your team do it? Those are The Questions probably in your mind. Actually this time world cup is very unpredictable and all teams have mixed bag. Australia is the only team hasn’t had a defeat and they get a no result match and they have another match. But we can’t see they perform well in all of their matches. There performance against Zimbawe and Kenya is not up to their stranded. They have some problem with their batting and Clark is the only batsman who are in the runs. If they played srilanka match sometimes they also have a lost. In that match Srilanka Used Three spinners and that might course some problems. All other teams play well in one day and bad in other day. So it is very difficult to predict. I think that should be the World Cup.

I think you have Read my Previous Two articles and have some idea about Group Standings.

Today I’m going to talk about tomorrow big match. This is the match which will decide some places in group A. If srilanka win it they will come to 2^nd place and else they will come to last.

Then I will discuss who has the better chance in this match.

We can’t say much about the wicket. We only have one match in Mumbai. That is New Zeland VS Canada. In that match NZ scored 358 runs and McCullum scored a century. So they have that advantage of playing familiar ground. We can’t say about ground Support .but I think India will support Srilanka because Srilanka is india’s close friend.

 When we look at the last match in Mumbai we can see NewZeland Use there quick ballers and they are succeed. Also Canada spinner Davison balls well. That means, the Wicket Support both Spinners and fast ballers. Srilankan has top class spinners. I’m sure they will go from three spinners as a trial for the final. If they select for the final against the team who can’t handle spinners well that will help them lot. So I think they will go from there 3 spinners and NZ are not good at spinners.

When we look at the team performance Srilanakan top order their entire batsman’s scored in one of the match in worldCup. Three century Holders, Sangakkara is in good form with a good average. But only thing is there middle order. Samaraweera, Silva and Angilo are not in Runs. Siva Scored 50 against Pakistan but he waste lot of balls and that generate pressure for others. The thing I have seen from srilanak is they don’t have middle order batsman’s who can take singles.  But the good thing is one of their batsman score runs and sangakkara is in good consistent form. I think they can handle NZ ballers well and if Vitori play tomorrow he will be the man for NZ. But Srilankans Handle spinners well.

When we look at NZ Tayler and MCCullum are in good form. Also Gupitll . But Taylor cann’t handles malinga well. In 2007 World Cup he had lot of difficulties. McCullum also not played well against srilanka.my men are Ryder,Guptill and styris. They played well against srilanka and handle spinners well.

So they are the Key players for NZ. But In srilanka Mendis and Herath are the key.NZ hasn’t played well against mendis and still they can’t pick him. Herath is balled well and he is new to NZ. Muralli and malinga will make lot of problems. So there batsman have to do well.

I think if srilanka win the toss they will like to bat. They are very good at defending with their balling attack. I think they have the best balling attack now. There is lot of variations and talents in it. if they play more than 270 it is difficult to chance. Malinga,murali,mendis and herath have 40 overs and you have to score more than 5.5 runs per over with these ballers. Also you have to protect your wickets. If srilanka bat first they have a good chance to score 270 with their batting without pressure. But they are bad in chasing. If NZ can 270 on the board and take quick wickets. They can win it. This is the way that I see this match. But srilanka has a small chance. They play under similar conditions, most of the time ground suppot is for Srilanka, and they play against a side that is week under quality spinners. Most of the times, Srilanka have won against NZ in world cups are ICC tournaments.

But if NZ bats first and Ryder,Guptill or Styris gets going we have a good match. I think they are the main key players for NZ. If they have to chace more than 270 in that time also if two of these batsmen get going they can get it against the qulity balling attack of srilanka. Any way srilanka has 55-45 chance.

But who knows. Let’s see tomorrow.

What will happen in Group B

When we look the two Groups we all know Group B is wildly open and we can’t predict which teams will be qualifying for the Quarter finals.

So As I promised you tomorrow today I will give more detailed analysis about Group B.

Here Netherland can’t qualify for the next stage. They have two matches and if they win it they only able to get 4 and not enough for the entering top four.so the rest have a chance. I will discussed about it,

So Then I will tell what are the chances that Ireland had. They can beat Netherland and they can go to four points. But that is not enough. They have to get more than 4 points. That means they should defeated South Africa. Ireland has done lot of things in this WorldCup and they will try it. But when we look at the SA team it is so difficult. But who knows. If kevin gets going sometimes they have a chance.

if ireland win it they only able to get 6 points. Then they have to look what are the teams will have 6 or less than six points.

India has 7, The winner of the WI  vs England have more than 6,and two places remain.

If WI beat England and bangalidesh beat SA and lost to Netherland, three competitors.

Bangalidesh, Ireland and South Africa.

If England beats WI and Indi beats WI we have four competitors,

Then Net Run rate will come in to play, so Ireland should have big wins and other have close games and bad defeated.

But I don’t think all of these will happen. This is the height possible way that Ireland can enter to the semifinals. In all other possibilities we only have a contest for a one place and three or more competitors.

Then I will discuss about the bangalidesh.

Bangalidesh

They have a real chance. They have to beat Netherland. Then they have six points.

If WI beats England they will automatically qualify. Else if they beat South Africa then they have eight and in the next round.

The only case they can’t play in the next round is if Wi beats india and lost to England and south African win there both matches.

But there is a possibility to this happens. WI is unpredictable. They are good in there day. If gayle gets going who can stop him. England have good bowling attack when we campier to india. if it’s gayles day I don’t think india can stop him with their bowlers.  So weather india have good batting lineup they are unable to get use of this with their bowlers.so this thing can happen and keep in your eye on WI vs England match and India Vs WI match.

England

Then I will talk about England. The only chance they have is have to defeat WI. Then they are in the next round. or they have to expect  Bangalidesh will lose their two matches or rain will come on to Bangalidesh vs Netherland match.

India

If india lost to WI and bangalidesh win both of matches, South Africa win against Ireland, England beats WI. Then India can't take a place in next round.

South Africa and westIndies

South Africa and WI Have to win one match to enter the semifinals.

Here WI has hard matches and if they defeat both and bangalidesh win both matches they are out or they have to wait Ireland to beat southafrica. Then Run Rate comes in to play.

ICC Cricket worlcup 2011.... So far

In This article I would like to discuss what was happen in past few days in the world cup and what will be the feature.

As we all know 2011 ICC Cricket world cup is Held in Asia (India,Srilanka,Bangaladesh)and In those countries we can find lot of people who love cricket.

The First Match, Held between Bangaladesh and India. Then every day we had a Cricket match.

I think you all will agree with me that we have closed matches and lot of teams performs well. So in this article I’m going to discussed about current points table and how it be looks like in the feature.

Still it is difficult to predict but we can get some idea.

So I will discussed the situation till 2011.03.11

So we will move on to Group A.

The points Table of Group A

So When We look at it we can clearly see top four teams will be Qualified for the Next Round.

If Zimbabwe or Canada wins there Remaining two matches and Australia or Pakistan lost there all matches this may change. But it has very less probability.

So the Most important thing is how the places will go in Group A.

I will take top four teams. Here I’m imagining they all beat other three teams.

So points table looks like,

(Wins marked Red)

Srilanka(2^nd or fourth)

That means Srilanka can’t go to the first place. Here I’m talking about the normal situation and assuming that everything looks ok. If there will be a rain for above matches this may change.

And if they lost to NewZeland they are at the fourth place.

If they win the NZ match most of the time they are at the 2^nd place. If Pakistan wins the Australia match srilanka and Australia have equal points.

In this time Net Run Rate Come in to play.

But srilanka has 2+ run rate and if it a win this will be plus and if Australia lost it will be minus.

Australia (1^st or 3^rd)

If Aussis win there game they will go to the first place and if they lost they have to look at the Sl vs NZ result.

If NZ wins they are at the 3^rd place and sl wins net run rate come in to play.

But as I told earlier if it happens, srilanka will go ahead. Then Aussis have to stay at 3^rd place

Pakistan

If they win Australia game they have to look at Sl vs NZ match.

If Sl wins they are at the first place and if Sl lost they will equal with NZ.

Here NZ is led by 1 point now.so if they win Sl match it will be plus. So Pakistan has to beat Aussis by distance while Nz gets a close win.

Here in subcontinent NZ can’t have a big win against srilanka. Because there all top order batsmen are in runs and ballers also doing good job. So it will be a close match.

Also it is difficult to get a big win against Aussis. So If NZ and Pakistan gets equal marks NZ will be at the top. They are at the 2^nd place.

We think they lost to Australia,

Then if Nz wins they are at 3^rd place and srilanka wins they are at the fourth place. But if srilanka win in style and Pakistan has a close game they will be at 3^rd place and otherwise fourth place.

All four places are available for Pakistan.

NewZeland

If they win against srilanka and Pakistan wins Australia match NZ will come to the top. If Aussis win their match NZ will go to 2^nd place.

If they lost badly to srilanaka and Australia beats Pakistan in close match NZ go to the bottom and else Pakistan will go to the bottom.

Then I will go to Group B

It is very difficult to tell.it is very difficult to select the Qualifying teams

First we talk what are the qualifying Teams.

If bangalidesh able to beat Netherland they have a real chance. If Westindies lost to England,india and  they will get 6 points. Then net run rate will come in to play. So the if WI have good run rate if they lost all 3 matches their rate will go down.

Bangalidesh have to beat netherland to get 6 points and so +ve run rate.so they only need to have a close match with South Africa. If they can have a big win against Netherland they will be at the next round and West Indies will out.

If West Indies Beat England and bangalidesh have 6 points England has to go.

If West Indies beats india and England beats west indies then England have 7, west indies have 8

Then if South Africa beats bangalidesh and Ireland they have 8.if india beats south Africa india have 9.

Then bangalidesh has to go.

So England vs Westindies match is the key match. In most of the time looser will be out.

But we cann’t underestimate Ireland. If they beat Nethrland and South Africa this contest will be widely open.

India is the only teams that don’t have a risk. All other teams have risk. If South Africa can’t wins against bangalidesh or Ireland they are in a trouble.

India vs South Africa match will help to take some assumptions about group.

I think it’s too early for a conclution for group B.

I will tell it in summary form,

If England loose they are out

If westindies loose both matches and bangalidesh win against Netherland they have a chance

If Ireland wins both matches they have a chance and this will be very open.

So tomorrow I will put another article on current situation and how the teams perform so far.
