Now we are in the 2nd Stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and it is a knockout stage. So all the matches are very important to all teams and looser will go home. Before we go in to the quarter final stage of the Cricket World cup 2011 I think it is better to discussed about the first stage of the world cup.
When we talk about the first stage of the world cup we can see mixed performances of all teams. I will talk about the team performances in next articles and today I will talk about the performance of non-selected countries and the main incidents will happen in the next Stage.
When we asked that who will win the world cup this time, lot of people said that India or Australia. But now they have to play in Quarter finals and only one team can go to the semifinals. This is the one of the main thing we have to talk and I’m sure this match is worth to watch.
So now I will move in to the performance of non-selected countries. When we talk about them we have to put Ireland in first. In this world cup they showed that they can play a good cricket. They have entered the Super Eight stage in 2007 world cup by defeating Pakistan and this time they defeated England. Lot of people predicts that England will win this world cup and that’s why it is so important. Also they have chased down more than 300 runs and show that they can play good cricket. In this world cup they have chased down 300+ runs in two times. They played well against india and it is also a close game. Unlike in 2007 or their previous world cups, this time they have showed a consistent performance in batting, balling and fielding. There are lot of quality batsman in there side and if they can improve their balling they will become a good cricket team in future.
Then we have to talk about bangalidesh,
Bangalidesh is a test playing country, but we can’t see consistent performances by them. They have played lot of international cricket, but we can’t see any improvement like other Asian Teams. I think the main problem they have is they can’t find a consistent team. There are good players in bangalidesh side, but after some matches we can’t see them. First thing they have to do is understand the talented players. Then give confidence to them. Then they can win matches.
In 2007 Bangalidesh showed good talents. They have beaten India and South Africa in that world Cup. But then we can’t see Quality performances from them. In this world Cup they have beaten England. In that match they balled well. But in there batting we can’t see that weather they have won it. But there are some good signs on that. In that match youngsters have shown there talent and it gives lot of confidence to them. So bangalidesh should start from here and re built there team. Then we can see some good performances in feature.
Then I will move in to Neaterland. In this world Cup they are unable to win a match. But they have shown very good cricket. They have scored 300 runs in several times and gave very good fight to England and India. They have very good players and they have shown that they can do something in this world Cup.
Then I will talk about Zimbabwe. They have played well in this world cup. But they are not good enough to beat a top team. They have balled well against Australia and but in all matches they haven’t show their talents in batting department against a top team.
In 1999, 2003 world cups Zimbabwe have very good team and then they were unable to play well. But In this world cup some of their players have shown their talents. They have very good balling department with Prise and Utsaya and Taylor, Tibu can bat well. So they have talented players and only thing they have to do is perform as a team.
Kenyance haven’t play good cricket this time. They are unable to win a match this time. In 2003 they came to the semifinals and show some good talents. they have showed poor performances in this time. In Australia match they have batted well. when we take it as a summary we can’t see good performances from kenyance.
At last I will talk about Canada. Canada has beaten Kenya and that’s the only point we have to talk about them. In Australia match they have batted well in first overs. But they can’t manage it because of lack of experience. In Pakistan match they have balled well. So they also have talent but can’t manage it according to the situation.
When we look at the performances of those teams we can say that they have played some good cricket. They only thing they need are experience. So if they will get a chance to play against top teams they can take that experience and show their talents in the world cup 2015. So ICC has to do this.
